Playstation 4 for all the family -Games people play.

I am a forty six year old mum and my son wants a PS4 for the festive season (We have split faith
allegiances in our family, so Christmas and Hanukkah come together as one.)

I went to have a look around and also did some online searching. Of course my own portal where I earn commissions from is the frst place that I go to, in order to get an idea of current price bands, but I have comparison finder skills that not too many other middle age Moms can match.

First of all the lowest prie I could find for the PS4 for Christmas 2015 was £249.99 from Tesco and this was a bundle deal with the new Nathan Drake Uncharted collection.

After this the standard is very my £299.99 and more depending on whether it is a standalone buy or a bundle.

For the average UK family, a purchase at this expense requires some planning and some thought. I know my son wants the console, yet it has to be accessible to everyone, so I decided to explore what games kids, teens, Moms, Dads and maybe even Granparents like to play on the console.

It comes as no surprise then that the men ranging from early teen boys to post middle age men, enjoy the action (military, killing, invading, conquering) type games which are on the whole oriented to a specific end goal. This is why COD (call of duty) and similar games are so siccessful, so if youre buying for a male above the age of fifteen these are games that are good to go for. However please remember that not everybody is cast from the same mould and therefore consider the personality and interests of the end userr before making a decision. For a list of games good for the older teens and men have a look here.

As it turns out, the ladies also enjoy games that involve action (A little less around the murder/killing/military) type game and prefer games with a good storyline. So as long as there is a good storyline to the game, chances are that your girl will like it.

Of course the younger kids do like goal oriented games in order to get to the next level such as the Super Mario Games that were made so famous by Nintendo and Character titles including Barbie for the girls.

So what to do if they already have all the obvious titles? Is there perhaps a game they absolutely love but simply cannot quite complete? The how about a walkthrough guide? Have a look here for a great selection of walkthrough guides which will delight the most hardened of gamers.
